Our Story

It started the way most good things do — around a kitchen table, with a problem that wouldn't stop nagging us.

 

We're Missy & Monica. Between us, we're raising six kids, loving on one granddaughter, and trying to keep two busy households running. And for years, we shared the same quiet frustration: every time we turned over a bottle of lotion, a bar of soap, or a jug of laundry detergent, the ingredient list read like a chemistry experiment. Phthalates. Parabens. Synthetic fragrances with names we couldn't pronounce. Petroleum derivatives sitting on our kids' skin, soaking into our family's clothes, lining the surfaces of our homes.

We wanted better. Not luxury-priced better. Not boutique-exclusive better. Just... honestly, truly better. Products we could trust without a chemistry degree and afford without a second mortgage.

So Missy went back to what she knew. She'd been making natural home and body products for over twenty years — long before "clean beauty" became a marketing buzzword. She knew that beef tallow, the same ingredient our great-grandmothers relied on, was biologically compatible with human skin in a way that no synthetic lotion could ever match. The fatty acid profile mirrors our own skin's oils. It doesn't sit on the surface pretending to moisturize — it absorbs deep, delivering vitamins A, D, E, and K right where they're needed.

And Monica? She's the one who reads every label twice. The researcher. The one who won't let a single ingredient into our workshop that she hasn't personally vetted for her own family. If it wouldn't go on her granddaughter's skin, it doesn't go in the jar. Period.

Together, we built Renovare Collective.

The name comes from the Latin word "renovare" — to renew. That's what we set out to do: renew the way families think about daily care. Strip away the noise, the synthetic fillers, the misleading labels, and get back to what actually works.

Every single product we make is hand-poured in small batches right here in Cabot, Arkansas. We source our beef tallow locally from pasture-raised cattle. We use phthalate-free fragrance oils — never cutting corners on scent quality, never hiding behind vague terms like "proprietary blend." What you see on our label is exactly what's in the jar. Nothing more. Nothing less.

From our signature whipped tallow body butter to our artisanal cold-process bar soaps, from our magnesium recovery balms to our non-toxic laundry soap — everything carries the same promise: effective, intentional, and free from anything your family doesn't need.
