About this bar
For the end of a hard day's work.
True Grit is built to clean you up after a hard day's work. It starts with the same creamy tallow recipe as all our bars, then adds natural pumice and activated charcoal for real scrubbing power, finished with a bold scent that's out of this world. The pumice works as a gentle exfoliant, so hands and skin come out supple and smooth instead of rough and dry.
Keep one at the kitchen sink, in the shop or in the shower. It's the bar for grease, dirt, garden soil and everything else the day throws at you.
Why it works

- Activated charcoal: helps lift away dirt and oil for a deep-clean feel
- Beef tallow: a rich, creamy lather that leaves skin soft, never stripped

How to use
- Wet your hands or skin and the bar.
- Work up a lather, scrubbing rough or greasy spots with the pumice.
- Rinse well and store on a well-drained soap dish so your bar lasts longer.
Pumice is a gentle scrub, but go easy on sensitive or broken skin.
Every bar is hand poured in small batches, so yours may look a little different from the photo. Color and design vary slightly from bar to bar. That's the handmade part, and we think it's the best part.

Ingredients
Tallow, olive oil, natural spring water, coconut oil, grape seed oil, sodium hydroxide (lye), natural pumice, activated charcoal, castor oil, phthalate-free fragrance oil, mica, tocopherol (vitamin E).

Returns & exchanges
Unused items in their original packaging can be exchanged for another scent or size, or for store credit, within 7 days with your receipt or order number.
